Do your research and just dont blindly follow one person influencing view.
You will note that I am using the words "plants based" as opposed to "vegan" diet. I focused on plants but also add wild caught oily fish and organic farmed eggs.

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14314340822395860383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3836609211397742247.post-34564505576680282802019-01-02T10:14:01.661-08:002019-01-02T10:14:01.661-08:00CharGC-- The diet of people in the "Blue Zon...CharGC-- The diet of people in the "Blue Zones" gets greatly exaggerated and changed by vegans. The Okinawans eat more fish than what you indicted in your post. I have visited there, and they eat fish regularly, as well as pork and chicken. Vegetables still predominate their diet, but they are far from being vegan. I have visited there and have even eaten with them. Meat was no stranger to them, believe me.Mindsweeperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00388255767255547013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3836609211397742247.post-63152219305019479972019-01-02T10:12:54.777-08:002019-01-02T10:12:54.777-08:00CharGC-- The diet of people in the "Blue Zon...CharGC-- The diet of people in the "Blue Zones" gets greatly exaggerated and changed by vegans. Omega 3's originate in ALGAE, and is only stored in fish flesh, with it's mercury, and other pollutants and contaminants. Eating low on the food chain is healthier and safer. If you are going to eat dead animals of any kind, keep it to a minimum. My own slew of health issues didn't resolve until I cut them all out. I love seafood and will occasionally indulge, but I don't kid myself because I like it and industry supports it. And straight out of the "Blue Zones" that studied Okinowan's healthiest period of dietary intake:
"It turns out that it’s whole plant foods, not fish, that make up 90% of the traditional Okinawan diet: Less than 1% of the diet was fish; less than 1% was meat; and less than 1% was dairy and eggs. Most of the diet was based on vegetables and beans, with the most calories coming from purple and orange sweet potatoes. It’s not only a highly anti-inflammatory diet, but also a highly antioxidant one."CharGChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06453953712061746753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3836609211397742247.post-53672541039424898142016-10-03T12:23:10.460-07:002016-10-03T12:23:10.460-07:00Thank you for sharing this!
